Mission

Deemed by many historians as the cradle of civilization, the Iranian plateau has a variety of cultural values and artistic aspects of humanity, that have been forgotten through the ages.

Vasht performing Arts has three core missions that are integral to the purpose of the organization.

The first of this missions is to re-discover these aspects and values through the study of ancient art.  Included in our studies is the examination of various relics such as paintings and engravings on vases, clay pots, or tablets, while also retelling ancient cultural stories passed down through many generations through dance, music, and animation.

Another mission of Vasht is to open a window toward the beauties of the archetypal values of human civilization.  We aim to access the spiritual awakening that becomes evident through the demonstration of the forgotten ancient arts to all ages and world audiences.

One of our goals is to engage people in a creative and educational experience that will expose them to new stories, ideas, and people.

It is both our intention and our great honor to reveal the result of our research in the Iranian plateau art and heritage, and highlight the strength of the Iranian culture by promoting a more complex and interesting view of it. Our unique opportunity as natives of the Iranian Plateau makes us responsible to share the lost and mesmerizing myths and legends with a diverse audience.
